What Is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy sessions are typically 50 minutes long and accessed through a PHIPA-compliant program, Cliniko, for both short-term and ongoing sessions. Sessions include conversations focused on your thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and experiences. I offer a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore past and present situations, identify patterns, and develop coping strategies while identifying your areas of strength, and what areas you may want to strengthening.
We can work together to identify your personal goals, and a plan to reach them using evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness practices.
